Picture story… capturing the legacy
Tina Tedesco-Vella’s vision is for everyone’s life story to be captured and shared with generations ahead…
It was through a professional networking group that Claudine first met Tina, and later was introduced to Tricia. We talked about what each of us do and soon found that we all had an inner desire and resolve to help others.
It is Tina’s nurturing side and desire to help and assist others achieve something of value that fuels the passion behind what she offers. With an extensive work history within not for profit organisations in the aged care and disability sectors, as well as government in the workers compensation and injury management sectors… she decided to branch out on her own and create Picture Story in 2012.

What is picture story?
Picture Story is a narrative of your business & product story, your organisational story, or your personal family story, capturing your memorable events that life memories are made of; I am the Storyteller capturing the emotions of how you want to be remembered and connected with future generations.
How did this come about for you?
I have always been listening to people’s stories throughout all my previous work, whether it was speaking to a family whose child had been through a traumatic accident leaving them with a spinal cord injury, or an elderly couple searching for home care or residential care options, to people who have had a workplace accident. Everybody has a story to tell, and I love to hear those stories and assist where I can.
What did that bring you personally?
Every time I hear someone’s story, I hear the challenges that they have been through, the happy and memorable moments in their life, their loves and their regrets. I feel so honoured when people decide to open their thoughts and memories to me. It is a gift to give the time and space for people to recall their memorable moments in life.
What is the vision behind what you bring?
My Vision for Picture Story is simple; I would like humanity to connect through storytelling.
What is the key to bringing your vision alive?
I am always seeking to create opportunities for people & communities to connect through their stories.
Who is picture story suited to?
Absolutely anyone. If you want to leave a legacy behind which is your story, then Picture Story can help you achieve that. If you want to connect with your children, your grandchildren, and with future family generations, then Picture Story can help you do that through your story.
What are the personal and professional benefits from the outcomes that arrive from this approach?
The benefits come from what I hear my clients saying,
One client said, “I learnt something about my partner that I had not known before, and we’ve been married for 52 years”
Another client said, “we had already completed our family tree, but Tina you have put the leaves on our tree”
One daughter called me and said, “Now I understand why my father likes trains so much. It all makes sense now”
These responses show me that through what I do it has an impact on connecting people again. They see each other again through the connection that has been made.
